Memorial a poor choice of venue for 'Tea Party'
(On 'Tea Party,' 4/16/09) Our servicemen and women give the ultimate gift preserving our right to free speech, freedom to peaceably assemble, etc., and for that I'll always be grateful.
My problem is the choice of (the Tea Party protest's) venue. I don't think partisan issues should be brought to the Veterans' Memorial, and yes, this was an almost wholly partisan issue.…
