Choirs, symphony join for oratorio

| Tenor John Aler will join the PSU Choirs and the Southeast Kansas Symphony for the annual spring oratorio at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at First United Methodist Church, 5th and Pine in Pittsburg. The program, entitled "Heroic Music for Voices and Orchestra," is drawn from the "Egmont Overture" by Beethoven and "Te Deum" by Hector Berlioz. The PSU Choirs are directed by Susan Marchant and the Southeast Kansas Symphony is directed by Stella Hastings. Tickets cost $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Ticket Office in Overman Student Center, or at the door. |
