Yell Like Hell, a yearly tradition during the homecoming festivities, pits student groups against one another in a choreographed song, dance and cheer competition.
Cherelle Jones, 2007 Homecoming Queen, opened this year's competition on Thursday night, Oct. 25, welcoming students and organizations.
After the introduction of the fall PSU sports teams, the show began, starting off with Pi Kappa Alpha's routine.
After the judges finished scoring the event, the Kansas Association of Nursing Students placed first in the co-ed division, the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority placed first in the women's division, and the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity placed first in the men's division.
All told, 13 student groups participated in Yell Like Hell: Pi Kappa Alpha, Honors College, Phi Sigma Kappa, Sigma Sigma Sigma, Kansas Association of Nursing Students, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Alpha Gamma Delta, Lamda Chi Alpha, Newman Club, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Sigma Chi, Residence Hall Assembly and Sigma Tau Gamma.
