Wind ensemble
plans concert

SEK Symphony
to perform
The Southeast Kansas Symphony will perform a concert featuring Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherazade," Bernstein's "Overture to Candide," as well as others. The concert will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Memorial Auditorium. For more information, call Jill Allen at 235-4466 or e-mail music@pittstate.edu.
Break starts Wednesday
Classes will be dismissed after last class on Tuesday, Nov. 20, for Thanksgiving break. Classes will resume on Monday, Nov. 26.

Art group plans silent auction
The University Art Association will hold a silent auction as a fund-raising event from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in 201 Porter Hall. Paintings, drawings, handmade books, jewelry, cards, ceramics, sculpture and photography will all be available for bidding.
