Spring Career Day to be held
A Career Day is planned for students interested in internships and jobs after graduation on Thursday, Feb. 14. The event will be set up in the Overman Student Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call David Hogard at 235-4140 for more information.
BSA to hold
poetry reading
A poetry reading will be held by the Black Student Association on Monday, Feb. 18, in honor of Black History Month in the U-Club. The reading begins at 7:30 p.m. For more information, call Leslye Steptoe at 235-6556.
SEK Symphony
to perform
The Southeast Kansas Symphony is set to perform Saturday, Feb. 16, in McCray Hall. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., and the program includes performances of works by Igor Stravinsky and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. The program is $7 for adults, and $5 for students. The Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations will host Student Night on Friday, Feb. 15, in John Lance Arena. Students will be able to eat at the Above the Rim Café for $5, and register for prizes that will be given away during timeouts. For more information, call Lacey Taylor at 235-4763.

Gorillas in Your Midst will sell flowers on Thursday, Feb. 14, for Valentine's Day. Red roses will be sold for $3 each, and red, white and pink carnations will be sold for $1 each. The sale will be held in Yates Hall from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 235-4062.

to hold auditions
Auditions for "Fuddy Meers" will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, and Thursday, Feb. 21, in 108 Grubbs Hall. Three women and four men are needed, as well as stage technicians. Audition packets are available in 110 Grubbs Hall. For more information, call Megan Westhoff at 235-4707.
