Apple Day to uphold 102-year tradition
The Apple Day convocation will celebrate 102 years of tradition when it starts at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 6, in McCray Recital Hall. All classes will be canceled on campus during the ceremony. The tradition is rooted in 1907 when Pittsburg students skipped class to commemorate Mayor Clarence Price's breaking of the rules during a legislative session.…

Students stay 'Up 'til Dawn' after raising $19k for hospital

PSU aims for 5 percent tuition hike
While PSU officials say they are aiming for around a 5 percent increase in tuition for the 2008-'09 school year, the total won't be officially decided until June.
