The Pitt State men's basketball team stood strong in it's face-off against Truman State last Saturday, March 1, leading to a spot in the MIAA semi finals in Kansas City this weekend. Men take 4th, women take 5th overall at MIAA track tourney
The Pittsburg State University men's indoor track & field team finished fourth while the women's team took fifth at the 2008 Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Championships on Saturday, March 1. The Pitt State men took an 18-point lead into Saturday's action, but the University of Central Missouri enjoyed a solid day to run away with the team title.…

Gorilla football ready to kick off spring drills
The Pittsburg State University football team will open its 2008 spring drills next Monday, March 10. The Gorillas will have a total of 15 practice days, including a pair of scrimmages during their spring campaign. Pitt State will practice four times the week of March 10, before taking a week off as spring break hits the PSU campus.…
