The International Student Association held its sixth annual International Food and Culture Fair on Saturday, March 6, at Memorial Auditorium. Pittsburg is beginning to turn Irish. Local bars and pubs have been preparing for St. Patrick's Day, which will be Monday, March 17, with brainstorming contests, prizes and gimmicks to get the local community out to their establishments. Zoel Lopez, senior in communication, first heard and answered his calling to be in radio broadcasting when he was 10 years old. Lopez will graduate from PSU in May 2009 with a jump start on his future career in broadcasting. Lopez has worked at local radio stations Tallgrass Rock 103.… Post the First Comment

Brenda Frieden, associate professor in the Department of Special Services and Leadership Studies, has been named the director of the newly created Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology.
