English Club
plans book sale


Sigma Tau Delta/English Club, the International English Honor Society, is holding its annual book sale next week. Book donations may be dropped off in the English Department at 426 Grubbs Hall or with Melody Denny at 448 Grubbs Hall. Those needing help with donated books or seeking more information may contact Denny at mdenny@pittstate.edu or call 235-4700.
The book sale will be Thursday and Friday, April 3 and 4, in the Grubbs Hall Lobby. Donations will be accepted until the final day of the book sale.


Speaker to discuss
eating disorders


Laura Eickman, who has spearheaded many educational and preventive efforts on eating disorders, will speak at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 3, in the Balkans Room of the Overman Student Center. Her address, "The Changing Face of Eating Disorders - Implications for Education and Prevention," is free and open to the public.

Leadership awards
banquet planned


The Leadership and Award Banquet will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at the Crimson and Gold Ballroom at the Overman Student Center. The banquet recognizes the outstanding contributions student organizations have made through their programs and leadership. For more information, call Ed Wirthwein at 235-4795.


Day devoted
to percussion


The PSU percussion studio will present the Kansas Percussive Arts Society Day of Percussion from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 29. Featured artists include Jeff Queen, Kurt Gartner and Brian Fronzagila. Tickets cost $5 for members of the Percussive Arts Society and $10 for nonmembers. Karaoke Night
scheduled


Gorillas in Your Midst will sponsor Karaoke Night from 8 to 11 p.m. Thursday, March 27, in the U-Club of the Overman Student Center. Free refreshments, Mall Deli, Cafe' Del Rio and Wal-Mart gift certificates, plus "Most Gorillas" T-shirts will be provided. For information, call 235-4062.
