Guitar Hero

The Guitar Hero III Battle will start at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Harley-Davidson Technical School located at 254 S. Highway 69. Sign-up is from 11 a.m. to noon before the event. It is a double elimination tournament using the game systems PS2, PS3 and X-Box 360. Participants are allowed to bring personal guitars and can compete in medium, hard and expert. Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third place. Winners of each round move to compete against each other and the losers will compete together for third place.


SGA to hold
presidential Q&A


SGA will present Presidential Q&A at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at the Crimson and Gold Ballroom. A concert by Rachel Loy will follow at 6 p.m. There will be free food. For more information, call SGA at 235-4810.
Feminist art
to be presented


Women's Studies Club will present "Picturing Feminism: A Selection of Visual Artists," at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 28, in Room 109 of Grubbs Hall. A reception will follow at 7:30 in the Grubbs Hall commons. Marianne Evans-Lombe will lecture on the feminist art movement by presenting various artists. Admission is free. Piffaro to perform


Piffaro, the Renaissance band, will perform from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, March 28, at the McCray Recital Hall. Tickets cost $10 for general admission and $7 for those 65 and over and 18 and under. PSU students are admitted free with valid ID. Tickets can be purchased at the PSU Ticket Office.

Diversity awards
to be presented


The Office of Student Diversity will have its Diversity Awards Reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, at the Heritage Room at the Overman Student Center. The reception will recognize the accomplishments of a few outstanding students. Refreshments will be provided. Admission is free.
