Softball team drops four at West Florida Invitational
The Pitt State softball team traveled to Pensacola last week to compete in the West Florida Invitational. The Gorillas faced two double headers against Freed-Hardeman and North Alabama. The team was unable to come out successful, dropping all four games. The Gorillas lost 1-7 and 1-2 against North Alabama on March 17, and 1-3, 2-10 against Freed-Hardeman on March 19.…

PSU kicks off outdoor track season
The Pitt State women's and men's track teams opened their outdoor seasons last Saturday with the Wendy's/PSU Open, held at Pittsburg's own Prentice Gudgen Track. The meet was held during Pittsburg's spring break, so finding schools to compete was a challenge.…

PSU trounces Truman
Pitt State baseball hosted Truman State in a four-game series last weekend, March 21 and 22. The Gorillas swept for four wins, with 12-7, 7-3 wins on Friday and 2-0, 6-4 wins on Saturday.
