Orchestra offers
'Messiah' fest
The Southeast Kansas Symphony will present "The Messiah: A Centennial Celebration" from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the McCray Recital Hall, as part of the Music Department's Centennial Celebration. The celebration begins at 1 p.m. with a reception in McCray Hall.
Faculty will perform from 2 to 3 p.m. in the McCray Recital Hall. Another reception will follow from 3 to 4 p.m. Admission is free. A banquet dinner will be from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Tickets for the dinner will cost $15 and are available through the Department of Music. Music students will perform during the dinner.
The PSU Chamber Winds and Alumni Wind Ensemble will end the celebration with a performance from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Memorial Auditorium. For more information, call the department at 235-4466.

Early enrollment for the summer and fall 2008 semesters will begin the week of April 14. Registrar Debbie Greve requests that students log on to GUS at http://go.pittstate.edu/ and verify their demographic information. For more information, call Greve at 235-4205.
Grad students
to read fiction
Blair Croan and Angela Hine will read short stories from their graduate theses at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at the Special Collections Room of the Axe Library. Admission is free.
May grads invited
to free dinner
Out of the Jungle, a free dinner with President Tom Bryant for spring and summer 2008 graduates, will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at the Wilkinson Alumni Center.
A reception with door prizes will follow at 6 p.m. Dress is casual. RSVP by noon on Friday, April 11, by calling Lacey Taylor at 235-4758 or e-mailing her at ltaylor@pittstate.edu.
Malaysia focus
of 'gathering'
An international gathering featuring Malaysia will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 11, at the United Methodist Ministries Center. There will be a free light meal.
