The repairs to the library are part of the deferred maintenance work going on at PSU this summer and should be completed by Aug. 15. Until then, the library will maintain its regular summer schedule. The regular summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 4-10 p.m. on Sunday. The library is closed on Saturdays through the summer and will also be closed on July 4. PSU offers summer ANGEL workshops
"What's New in ANGEL 7.2" will be the topic for the ANGEL training workshops this summer. Training will be offered on using the expanded features of Course Mail, the HTML Editor, the Date Manager, and elements of Blogs, Wikis, and Course Syndication. Presenters for the training workshops will be the Instructional Support consultants from each college: Donna Sue Pintar (Arts and Sciences), Dee Lankford (Business and Education) and Susan Dellasega (Technology). There is not a sign up for these workshops - just show up. If you do not have a current ANGEL account, please contact one of the Instructional Support consultants. All workshops will be held in the computer classroom in Axe Library.
If anyone is interested in learning how to incorporate these new elements into their ANGEL course, please plan to attend the following workshops: New in 7.2 - Assessments - July 1, 2008, 1-3 p.m.; Basic ANGEL Training - July 8, 2008, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.; Gradebook - July 10, 2008, 1-3 p.m.; New in 7.2 - Course Mail, HTML Editor - July 15, 2008, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.; New in 7.2 - Blogs, Wikis, Course Syndication - July 17, 2008, 1-3 p.m.; New in 7.2 - Assessments - July 22, 2008, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
