Study abroad
information offered

The annual Pittsburg State Study Abroad Expo will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, in the Governors Room of the Overman Student Center. At the expo, students can visit with professors who will lead groups of students abroad, students who have recently done a study- abroad program, representatives from study-abroad programs outside of PSU and international students who are here on a study- abroad program. Information will also be available about the International Knowledge and Experience (IKE) program. For more information, call Julia Helminiak at 235-4221 or by e-mail at jhelmini@pittstate.edu.

Classic novel
to be discussed

Sigma Tau Delta/English Club is holding a discussion of Emily Brontë's classic, "Wuthering Heights," from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21. This event is open to all PSU students. SAC to present
comedian

Student Activities Council will present comedian Eric Blake in the Crimson and Gold Ballroom. A regular at BET's Comic View, Blake is a frequent headliner at comedy clubs across the nation, including: The Improv, The Comedy Store and The Punchline. Blake has been selected to The Best of Comic View on BET for four consecutive years. He also performed as the headliner for the comedy hit "War on Comedy," which aired on HBO and has recently been released on video. Eric's notoriety led HBO to choose him among thousands to film a documentary on the eight most up-and coming-comedians in the country, which is scheduled to air this year.

Art displays
on Broadway

The Annual Art Walk on Broadway is set to take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17. Musical performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. All Art Walk festivities will span from the intersections of Euclid and Broadway to Tenth Street and Broadway. Artists or musicians interested in contributing to the Fall Art Walk are encouraged to contact Rhona at creativehub@sbcglobal.net. Admission is free.
