It was a sweet and unexpected way for Southwest Baptist Bearcat head coach, and Pitt State alum, Jeff Guiot, to pick up his 300th win as a head coach.

The Northwest Missouri Bearcats (10-1, 9-0) have had a week off to prepare for this weekend's matchup with the Gorillas (11-1, 8-1). As the second seed in the region, the Bearcats were given a first round bye.
